It's been a year since the launch of Nokia X20. The earlier rumors were about Nokia X30 and X50 to succeed the X lineup. But unfortunately, none of two has released yet. Now, rumors are considering Nokia X60 series to be the successor for 2022. The new X60 series include a standard model and a pro edition, Nokia X60 Pro. Let’s see what you can expect from X60 Pro?
144Hz IPS Display
According to some Taiwanese media reports, Nokia X60 Pro is likely to have a Curved Display (probably IPS LCD) and 144 hertz refresh rate. The video resolution should be Full HD or above. There is no word on whether it to have a Gorilla Glass protection or not. We expect X60 Pro with a screen size of about 6.5 inches.
HarmonyOS 2.0 OR Android 12 OS?
A report from GizChina was suggesting the Nokia X60 Pro to switch to Harmony OS. But a tweet from Global Times denied it, saying that Huawei has confirmed no such deal or licensing with Nokia. Also, it could result as a big loss in international market where Android users prefer Google Mobile Services. Therefore, the latest Android 12 OS may be installed on Nokia X60 Pro. What we anticipate is X60 Pro to be a part of Android One program (as many other Nokia mobiles have joined this program).
200MP Camera
As we know that Samsung has launched 200MP mobile camera and it is even functional in some recently launched smartphones. So, Nokia is said to take a similar step forward, rumored to debut Nokia X60 Pro with a 200MP primary camera. It may be a Triple or a Quad Camera arrangement.
Snapdragon 700 series or Dimensity chip
If Nokia X60 Pro has to support 144Hz Display and 200MP camera, HMD has to integrate an efficient chip. That chip must be cost-efficient too in order to keep down price. Therefore, speculations are X60 Pro to feature Snapdragon 700 series or Dimensity chipset. It is most likely to be a Qualcomm one. Whatever the chip would be, it will support 5G connectivity.
6000mAh Battery
It is trendy now, having a 5000mAh or 6000mAh mobile battery. Higher battery capacity models are in-demand among consumers. According to NokiaMob report, Nokia X60 Pro will have a 6000mAh power cell.
